Singapore International Science Challenge (Research Challenge)
The sub-theme for the day of the Research Challenge is Edge of Dawn.
The only challenge that will require participants to be prepared ahead of SISC, the Research Challenge is exciting for both teachers and students because it allows both groups to learn from one another. The student participants will present their research primarily via a poster, and are assessed by an independent team of academics from various academic and research institutes. Students are also invited to publish their work in SISC Proceedings and to give an extended, public talk on their work.
Only students who have had their paper refereed by a panel of academics and accepted for publication will be invited to give the aforementioned talk.
Each institute is invited to have students present posters on up to 3 research projects from any field of STEM research.
Each team is invited to give a maximum of 3 Oral Lectures on their research projects to an audience of participating students, educators and independent academics from academic and research institutes.
