Junior College (Direct School Admission)
Direct School Admission into 2-year JC Programme for Academic Year 2023 – DSA-JC Exercise 2022
The Direct School Admission-JC (DSA-JC) is an annual exercise for students seeking admission directly to a Junior College. We invite all interested 2022 O-Level graduands to apply to National Junior College.
Students who are successful are guaranteed a place, provided that they meet the eligibility criteria for admission to a JC based on their GCE O-Level results. Students admitted under DSA-JC are expected to honour their commitment to the JC. They will not be allowed to take part in the Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE) in 2023. They will also not be allowed to transfer to another JC after the release of the GCE O-Level results.
For 2022, the DSA-JC Exercise will take place from May to September.

Applications for the DSA-JC to National Junior College are free-of-charge and must be submitted online at https://go.gov.sg/njc-dsa-jc-2022 between 5 May 2022 (Thu), 12 pm and 27 June 2022 (Mon), 5 pm.

Applicants will be shortlisted and selected based on the following general criteria:
- Demonstrate passion for and commitment to the area of interest;
- Exemplify positive character traits, including resilience, motivation and integrity; and
- Display a commitment to contribute to the school, through the area of interest as well as other opportunities to serve.

All shortlisted candidates will be notified via email by mid-July 2022 to attend an in-person audition / trial held in National Junior College. More details on the performance task will be provided in the email notification.
Thereafter, applicants who are further shortlisted will be notified via email to attend an in-person interview, also held in National Junior College. The interview panel will comprise School Leaders, HODs and/or the CCA teachers.
Offer of Places
Applicants who are shortlisted for interviews will be notified via email of the results of the DSA-JC application by 5 August 2022. Successful applicants will be offered a place in National Junior College for the academic year 2023.
